this my attempt to collect those things that help me understand.

I'm mostly interested in the role of symmetries in fundamental physics. Most notes revolve around the following motto:

Some notes here are really short and only refer to some paper that explains everything perfectly. Other notes are quite long, because I tried to sort my thoughts by writing them down. I rarely collect technical definitions as they can be easily found in the standard textbooks or at Wikipedia. Instead I try to collect side remarks that led to “Aha” moments.
